2016 collection. Sylvie Vartan is a French pop institution, as popular today as when she first took the yé-yé scene by storm in 1962 with the first of a half century-worth of hits. The vivacious and always stylish Vartan was also a pioneer amongst the new breed of French female artists, crossing the Atlantic several times in the early '60s to record. She proved remarkably adept at tackling material in English, which resulted in many superb recordings chanted in a husky, compelling accent. Sylvie's main foreign release in that era was the US-only album Gift Wrapped In Paris. It combined tracks from the 1963 Sylvie a Nashville LP along with new sessions cut in New York in late 1964 with a crack session crew and the likes of Ellie Greenwich on backing vocals. Later on Sylvie recorded in England and utilized the talents of her husband Johnny Hallyday's in-house writers, Tommy Brown and Mick Jones, the latter later to become famous in the band Foreigner. en Anglais... et en Américain compiles the best moments from Sylvie's 1960s English language releases, such as the uptown R&B of 'Gonna Cry' and 'I Made My Choice,' girl-group nuggets like 'I Can't Make Him Look At Me' and 'I Heard Somebody Say' and the groovy 'Thinking About You' and 'Run For The Sun. ' We also delve deep into the vault to find previously unheard gems such as 'You Please Me So' and 'Whirlpool. ' With superior remastered sound and an extensive, heavily illustrated sleeve note that tells the full story behind Vartan's experiments singing in English, en Anglais... et en Américain is a must-have for both her ardent admirers and any fan of the classiest '60s girls. Compiled with the full co-operation of Sylvie herself and the sleeve note contains a brand new interview.

Works on Visible (Verizon)

For the price, this little device offers no compromises aside from the obvious. It's quick, offers a full day of battery life, and has a feature set to rival much more expensive competition. The screen despite it's size is fully usable for my every day tasks. Texting, web browsing, reading comics, etc are all viable if you have the eyes for it. The build quality is great. This reminds me of an old Nokia in the hand. I've also had no signal problems in rural Appalachia.
And yes, it *does* work on Verizon, but you'll need another phone to activate the sim with before transferring it over.

Cut your screen time without sacrificing convenience

I've been wanting to switch to a "Dumb" phone to cut back on my screen time, but I was nervous about needing navigation and the internet away from home.
Well! The Jelly Star is a fantastic solution.
Cons:
-Obviously, typing can be quite difficult. But the audio transcription features work very well.
-The small screen means that every small finger gesture can trigger an unintended action
Pros:
-No loss of function. This phone can do 98% of anything a full size phone can do.
-Cut screen time immediately
I read a lot about this phone, but still wasn't sure what it could handle. My main goal was to cut screen time so I took a shot on it.
Right out of the box I was surprised at how "normal" it was in every way but the size and shape. I was able to still use all of the apps I used on my old phone, I could set up my home screen with widgets I had before, and download the same custom ringtones. Even the youtube popup viewing window, screen recording, messenger! It feels exactly the same to use as any other android phone, just incredibly small.
The camera, audio, fingerprint scanner and microphone are all meh, but completely acceptable for a fully functional smartphone that cost $200.
Now, did it help with screen time? YES! Right away I really lost the desire to get "stuck" watching videos. The phone doesn't take up much of your field of vision; its hard to get sucked in and not be immediately distracted by the real world outside your screen. And as it was intended, the small phone screen (while serviceable in every way), just isn't much fun to be on.
Typing on this phone is a bit slow and methodic, I make more phone calls and speak to people in my life a bit more regularly.
And of course, I still crave entertainment but I have been choosing more audio books, music and podcasts over scrolling on tiktok/instagram/facebook.
Having only had this phone a short time, I am blown away by how both effective and usable it is! If you want to cut down on screen time but not give up the convenience of a smart phone, this is the phone for you!
For the price it comes with a screen protector (Applied), and extra screen protector, case, cable, brick, and a strap! It comes fully protected out of the box.

Excellent training Collar and very accurate
Style: Alpha TT 25
I paired this collar with a Pro 550 Plus and they work excellent together for training with my German shorthaired. Very easy to pair and use one you learn all of the functions. The layout of the low/med/high stimulation is easy to get used to for training and the correction of bad behavior and provides peace of mind when working with a young dog off leash. The gps is very accurate down to the foot. The light feature is awesome at night and is very bright. The battery in the collar long outlives the remote. Used in some heavy rain and worked without issue. I have only paired and used one collar so far but highly recommend regardless of the price.
