During the 2020 pandemic lockdown period, Co. Cork, Ireland based artist Tomasz Madajczak began collaborating by videocall, with other practitioners he had approached in the year before. Emerging from exchanges with Miche‡l OÕConnell (a.k.a. Mocksim) was the idea of ÔNoSpaceÕ. As restrictions relaxed temporarily in August of that year, Tomasz entered Uillinn, The West Cork Arts Centre to use a studio space offered to him there. The concept, discussed remotely with Miche‡l (still unable to travel due to Covid) was to subtract from the space, rather than ÔmakingÕ anything. Several works resulted from this attempt to empty an already empty studio.

They became interested in the auto-transcription records of their daily one-hour online conversations. These words, generated by mysterious artificial intelligence, appeared a few hours afterwards as a record of each call. Even though the ambition had been to produce nothing, the algorithmic writing was something. Due to minor technical problems, varying bandwidth and issues with mics for example, but also because AI still has problems dealing with the variety of colloquial terms, accents, specific ways of communicating and especially irony, the transcripts, though impressive, are also puzzling and amusing in places.

Miche‡l compiled the unedited conversations each day; Tomasz had them printed, and then pasted the sheets in a grid pattern on the walls, crucially outside of, the studio. This book is another record of those auto-transcribed discussions.

From Professor of Art and Aesthetics, John Roberts: "It's hilarious (I was laughing out loud). It's an algorithmic tragi-comedy, mediated through Beckett and Tristan Tzara, in which two 'idiot artists' talk 'artistically' without end. Indeed, everything is preamble, platitude and self-reflexive pontification."

Best Wine Opener We’ve Tried
Color: Black
My husband and I like to think of ourselves as wine connoisseurs, and over the years we’ve been through dozens of wine openers. So far, this one is our favorite. It’s pure magic—smooth, easy, and reliable every time. The charging base keeps everything organized. We’ve been using it for several months now without a single issue. It feels well-made and has definitely earned a permanent spot on our counter. It works so seamlessly that now we both want to open the wine.

Great gift for any wine lover!
My sister and I went in on this gift together for my mom for Christmas. We got it on a lightning deal for a lot cheaper than the normal price and were a little sketched out by it. But when we got the package and my mom opened the gift and used it, we all found it's very sturdy. Looks nice in her kitchen and is a talking piece when family or friends visit. It's really easy to use and has a nice feel to it. Great wine opener, great gift for any wine lover!

Attractive.. Works Well.. Good Quality
I must like this Item, I have now bought 4 of them, One for myself & 3 as a Gift. I actually Returned the 1st One because I thought 🤔 it wasn't charging properly. Received a Replacement. The initial 12 hr charge period doesn't fully charge unit, it eventually fully Charges. I like this product alot, small Foot Print, attractive and good Quality... Works efficiently and I like the extras, Stoppers, Pump and Aerator. Now how long the Battery lasts to be determined...

Wish I had bought long ago
Was surprised how easy it was to use. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Foil cutter, & opener itself was a breeze-especially for a first-time user. Wish I had bought this long ago. I'll keep the handheld opener as an emergency back up, but this device is the way to go. Great idea for gift giving
