AW Metpress 65mm 2½"PFW007 water copper press straight coupling DN65 crimp socket union is compatible with all popular press tools and their copper press systems such as Viega, Connex Banninger B Press and Kembla Kempress. This listing is for a single AW Metpress copper straight coupling fitting.

The AW Metpress copper straight coupling features a lip at either end of the fitting. The lips help align the actual press areas along the copper pipes and provide extra sealing material when pressed. The black sealing ring is made of EPDM O-ring for portable water applications with a temperature range of -20 - 110 °C and a maximum pressure rating of 1600kPa.

With all AW Metpress copper press straight couplings, there is an inbuilt stopper at the center of the fitting to help stop the copper pipe sliding through. This feature prevents the copper pipe going too deep at one end of the coupling and ensures sufficient copper pipe length can be inserted at the other end of the coupling. This design is in contrast to a slip repair servicing coupling, which has no stopper and can slide over a copper pipe. 

The AW Metpress copper press fittings have a slug fit over the copper pipes and will remain in place until the press tool is applied, allowing easy installations and adjustments. Once pressed and secured by the correct press tool, the fitting will not dent or deform the internal copper to ensure unhindered water flow. These features have made the AW copper press systems a faster and safer connections to conventional compression or capillary systems.
