- Lynne Ramsay's bleak yet beautifully photographed debut unflinchingly portrays life on a Glasgow housing estate during the 1973 refuse collectors' strike, as seen through the eyes of 12-year-old James Gillespie (William Eadie). After James's friend falls into a canal and drowns, James becomes increasingly withdrawn. As bags of rubbish pile up and rats move in, James finds solace in his friendships with Kenny, an odd boy who loves animals, and Margaret Anne, a teenage misfit.
- Annette Kuhn's study of the film, the first to offer an overarching account of Ramsay's work, considers the director's background and Ratcatcher alongside her earlier films. Kuhn traces the film's production history in the context of Scottish media and literary cultures, and its cinematic influences, while acknowledging the distinctiveness of Ramsay's poetic, visionary style.
- Kuhn draws on interviews with Ramsay and others involved in the film's production and combines this with a close reading of selected passages to provide an in-depth and illuminating analysis of the film's poetic style and its aesthetics, including an examination of its construction of a child's world through a highly distinctive organisation of cinematic space.

To Yeti or not to Yeti
Set name: Yeti, Set name: Yeti
I’m honestly baffled. My dog Simba — a boxer, black lab, pittie mix with plenty of energy but not exactly a super‑chewer — received this Yeti doll on February 15th. Within days, he had chewed the hand clean off and yanked the rope straight out of the doll’s body. I expected at least a little durability, but this thing didn’t stand a chance. I’m still staring at the shredded remains wondering how it fell apart that fast. Definitely not what I thought I was buying.

Fun ball for my big Golden Retriever!'
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
It's big and has some weight to it in comparison with ither balls that hardly weigh anything. My 4 year old Golden Retriever can get his jaws around it only just! The squeaky is tough to get squeaking especially if you have a smaller dog. My dog is about 100 lbs and can just barely bite it hard enough to make it squeak. Very cute toy and I pretty sure this is going to last him a long time because it really seems very durable! He loves it!
