Six Questions Your Liquid Capital Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using our own research to ensure every assumption reflects the reality of the alternative lending space. Key drivers like factoring fees, the 8% royalty structure, and the $235,000 total capital expenditure are pre-populated and fully editable to fit your specific territory. With a projected Year 1 EBITDA of $257,000 and a 2-year payback, this model provides the data-driven confidence needed for a successful launch.

When does the unit reach profitability?

This unit hits its stride early, with a projected break-even by April 2026. With Year 1 EBITDA at $257,000 and scaling to $2,793,000 by Year 5, the factoring franchise business plan shows a strong upward trajectory after accounting for all royalties and fixed costs.

Profitability Drivers

  • Optimize referral commissions at 2.8%
  • Control credit loss at 1.8%
  • Scale PO financing fee volume
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is needed and where does it go?

To launch this unit, you will need significant liquidity, with the lowest cash point hitting $962,000 in March 2026. The business financing franchise model allocates funds across a $55,000 franchise fee, $60,000 in leaseholds, and $30,000 for IT equipment, plus the working capital needed to fund client receivables.

Major Capital Uses

  • Franchise Fee: $55,000
  • Leasehold Improvements: $60,000
  • IT and Fintech Customization: $50,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the return on investment?

Investors can expect an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 11.11% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 6.77%. The payback period is relatively quick at 2 years, which is strong for a high-volume financial services model where initial capital outlays are substantial.

Key Investor Metrics

  • Internal Rate of Return: 11.11%
  • Payback Period: 2 Years
  • Year 5 EBITDA: $2,793,000
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

The monthly break-even point occurs in April 2026, just four months after the January launch. The biggest lever for reaching this point is the volume of factoring fees, which must cover the $4,500 monthly rent and the 10% combined royalty and marketing burden.

Levers for Speed

  • Increase average ticket size
  • Boost referral partner density
  • Maintain 1.2% processing efficiency
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway and lowest cash point?

Your lowest cash point is $962,000 in month 3, meaning you need a substantial buffer to handle the initial funding of client invoices before fees start rolling in. Capital liquidity management is the name of the game here; we recommend keeping a tight lid on early staffing until the revenue ramp is confirmed.

Cash Protection Actions

  • Monitor cost of funds monthly
  • Phase in Account Executive hires
  • Tighten credit loss monitoring
[dynamic_pic13]

How do Low, Medium, and High scenarios change the outcome?

In the High scenario, aggressive local marketing execution could push Year 1 revenue well past $1.05 million, significantly improving the 6.77% ROE. This small business lending franchise financial forecast shows that even a 1-point shift in cost of funds or a delay in the April break-even date changes your peak cash needs.

Hitting the High Case

  • Aggressive LinkedIn lead generation
  • High-touch client retention
  • Maximize staff throughput

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Wow.
Format: Kindle
Okay I’m usually not one for stand-alone’s I’m an avid series reader but my goodness am I so happy I read this! This story was brilliant & so absolutely mesmerizing. I loved reading about each character and their struggles as well as what helped them to move forward. The ending definitely brought tears to my eyes so hard. I truly wasn’t expecting some of what happened in this story. There is about to be a spoiler I am going to reveal so please stop reading if you don’t want the spoiler !!!! ⚠️ ⛔️ ‼️ I loved that the author didn’t do what most authors do with irredeemable male characters. I truly was hoping that Nate Jr. would be apart of the pack after the way he treated Astrea bc he truly didn’t deserve it. Though I must say you did a wonderful job or redeeming him as a person. I cried my eyes out when he walked into the story. I was truly terrified he was going to be a bad guy to the end. However you truly did him such a justice by having him realize his faults & having him redeem himself in the most wonderful way. I’m so sad that he didn’t get to hear how much his brother loved him & forgave him before dying. But again you wrote that ending so beautifully & I just can’t express how much I loved this story & how you took a different route than most authors I have read have. You are a remarkable author Cinder Blaze & I thank you generously for creating such a masterpiece.

Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
I was pleasantly surprised by this omega verse book. This 1 definitely had a few new twists And I really enjoyed reading it. The main female character was a badass and awesome. She had 1 best friend I wish we could have seen a little bit more of their friendship in this book. Her relationship with the male characters was good not to contrived or super instantaneous. And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench. I would definitely recommend this book.

Wow. Just wow. An amazing read
Format: Kindle
This book was eloquently written, or should I say the authors writing style is very eloquent? I loved the characters, and the story was quite compelling. I absolutely loved the FMC, she's a BA who doesn't take any crap & gives as good as she gets. A certain person certainly got his just desserts & then some, the earlier scenes of which were quite satisfying, had me punching the air & everything haha. All in all 20/10, great read
