Introducing The Nightmare Before Christmas Lantern Collection, a first-ever from The Bradford Exchange. Licensed from Disney, this lantern collection begins with Issue One, Love Beneath the Stars. Following that will be Issue Two, A Trio of Trouble, and Issue Three, Beware the Boogeyman, each a separate issue.
Each handcrafted, burnished metal lantern in this collection houses a fully sculpted scene inspired by Tim Burton\'s animated classic. You\'ll find Sally and Jack in a romantic embrace against a backdrop of Spiral Hill; Lock, Shock and Barrel making mischief; Oogie Boogie up to no good and more, each meticulously hand-cast and hand-painted in intricate detail. But it\'s the lights in the Halloween Town sky that truly create an eerie ambiance and make these lanterns shine. Abundant purple lights attached to nearly invisible strands of wire sparkle throughout each miniature scene inside the lanterns and seemingly float on air. What\'s more, crowning each lantern is a handcrafted topper comprised of ghoulish skulls, frightful pumpkins, dark pine boughs and craggy branches, all tied together by a rich purple bow. Flying bat silhouettes on the lids and twisting trim around the tops of the glass panels complete these inspired designs.
