Cerastium tomentosum, commonly called Snow-in-Summer, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial prized for its silvery foliage and masses of bright white flowers. Native to Europe, this hardy groundcover is widely used in rock gardens, borders, and cascading over walls where its soft texture and brilliant bloom create a striking display.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases. Damping off may occur in climates with high humidity or locations with too much shade.  Root rot may occur in poorly drained soil or soils that stay damp. Foliage may decline in hot summers.  As a short lived perennial, dead patches may appear after a couple of years.
