Imelda has written poetry since the early 70Õs. She managed to published a book of poetry with Gutenberg's Folly in 2005. The book is Cielitos. The original print is available for reading on Goodreads.com. She recently co-edited an anthology of international poets. Absolutely Poetry Society which also features her work, for sale on Amazon. Proceeds go to Save The Children.
In 2021 a second Absolutely Poetry Anthology was published. A group of over fifty poets from around the world including three generations of the Garcia family were featured. Subsequent publications include Wheelsong Poetry Anthologies and Wildfire Publications Quarterly Magazine among others.
