Antibiotic therapy for UTIs can impact both beneficial and harmful bacteria, but D-Mannose & Cranberry aids in restoring proper intestinal flora, preventing the colonization of harmful bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract.
Formulated with therapeutic proportions of three proven natural ingredients, D-Mannose is a simple, naturally occurring sugar that does not convert to glycogen in the liver. It enters the bloodstream directly and, upon exposure in the kidney, attaches to Escherichia coli bacteria for harmless excretion. The efficacy of D-Mannose & Cranberry is evident, considering that about 80% of UTIs result from infections caused by E. coli.
D-Mannose & Cranberry also features proanthocyanidin-rich cranberry (107× concentrate). Proanthocyanidins prevent the adherence of E. coli throughout the entire urinary tract.
Inclusion of the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus in D-Mannose & Cranberry involves a specialized probiotic strain known for its effectiveness against antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains. L. rhamnonus is highly resistant to stomach acids and produces compounds (surfactants) that disrupt the adherence of pathogenic bacterial strains to the lining of the urinary tract.

Suggested Usage
Adults: Mix 2 scoops in water or diluted juice twice daily for two days, then 2 scoops in water or diluted juice once daily, or as directed by your health-wellness-care practitioner. If you are taking antibiotics, take this product at least 2-3 hours before or after them.
Contains no: Gluten, wheat, eggs, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, or starch.
Cautions and warnings
Consult a health-wellness-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners; if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; or if you have a history of kidney stones. Consult a health-wellness-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. This product has come into contact with milk and soy. Do not use this product if you have a milk or soy allergy. Discontinue use and consult a health-wellness-care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.
Contraindications
Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid Health-Wellness-Car-e). Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain.
Known adverse reactions
May cause intestinal discomfort. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
