The soft strap does not pull the hair and is easily adjustable, so the child can put them on himself. They hold well during swimming and do not slip. so cool!! they were a bit big on my 4 year old, but fit perfectly on my 8 year old! since it was a little wide, the water poured in, but my 8 year old really enjoyed it and they look like sunglasses!! he said they were comfortable and they were so easy to put on and take off, since the straps weren't rubber. the lens scratch a little bit and they don't come with a pouch to keep in. still, great value for the money.
