Kenneth Feltges' talents as a teacher, poet and photographer have been recognized in several ways. His career as a teacher of English, poetry and film study spans a period of 45 years, first at Kenmore West for 34 years and the past 11 years at Mt. St. Mary Academy. In 1988, the Western District PTA selected him as 'Teacher of the Year' for the eight counties of Western New York. In the June 2012 issue of Business First, Ken was included as one of only 25 educators honored as a 'Teacher of Merit' in WNY. a few years ago, Kenmore West established the annual 'Kenneth Feltges Poetry Award' which is presented to talented young poets at the school, and recently Mt. St. Mary awarded the first annual 'Ken & Trudy Feltges Writing Awards' to students who show exceptional skill and interest in all genres of writing.

these are very nice platter/plates
these are not quite as thick as I was hoping for, but they’re really nice. I guess I’m just used to using paper plate holders underneath them but if you use two together, they’ll hold just about anything that you can put on them.

buy these! sized to have just enough beverage but not too much.
i like instant coffee so i filled the cup with tap water and microwaved it for 1 minute and added 1 scoop of coffee. after i finished it i had another so i actually had hotter coffee than i normally do - usually my coffee is cold by the time i get half way through my usual giant mug. microwaved well. did not leak or fall apart. i can see that they would be great for an event because they are really small so people could have a little something to drink but if they didn't finish it not much would be wasted. i have many giant mugs so they are really small compared to those. really good purchase. ****these do not have any kind of scent or flavor. it seems like that would be a requirement but you never know so i thought i'd mention it.
