This is an account of the Madhyamika (Middle Way) school of Buddhism, a method of mediation and enlightenment that was developed by the great Indian teacher Nagarjuna. In a collaboration between the Frenchwoman Alexandra David-Neel and her friend, the Tibetan lama Aphur Yongden, these teaching are presented clearly and elegantly, intended for the layman who seeks a way to practice and experience the realization of oneness with all existence.

..".this is the most direct, no-nonsense, and down-to-earth explanation of Mahayana Buddhism that has been written. Specifically, it is a wonderfully lucid account of the Middle Way method of enlightenment worked out by the great Indian sage Nagarjuna." --Alan Watts, The Book

"The Secret Oral Teachings in Tibetan Buddhist Sects by Alexandra David-Neel and Lama Yongden, is always on my night stand. I return to it again and again in different stages of my life." --Marina Ambramovic

"David-Ne l herself is often relegated to the ranks of "women adventurers" this despite the production of some forty-odd books, several of which have wielded an extraordinary influence." --Harry Oldmeadow, La Trobe University, Bendigo, Australia

Alexandra David-Neel was born in 1868 in Paris. In her youth she wrote an incendiary anarchist treatise and was an acclaimed opera singer; then she decided to devote her life to exploration and the study of world religions, including Buddhist philosophy. She traveled extensively to in Central Asia and the Far East, where she learned a number of Asian languages, including Tibetan. In 1914, she met Lama Yongden, who became her adopted son, teacher, and companion. In 1923, at the age of fifty-five, she disguised herself as a pilgrim and journeyed to Tibet, where she was the first European woman to enter Lhasa, which was closed to foreigners at the time. In her late seventies, she settled in the south of France, where she lived until her death at 101 in 1969.

10/10
Number of Items: 6, Color: Black (6-pack), Size: X-Large
These black T shirts are a great buy. The quality is solid, the material feels comfortable, and they fit really well without being too tight or too loose. They hold their shape after washing and the color stays nice and dark. Perfect for everyday wear, whether it is for layering or just a simple outfit. The multipack makes it even better value for the price. Definitely worth it and I would buy again.

Good quality and value for my son!
Number of Items: 5, Color: Black/Sport Grey/Charcoal, Size: Large
I bought the Gildan Men’s Crew T-Shirts multipack on Amazon for my 12-year-old son, who is on the heavier side and thus sometimes difficult to shop for. Pre-teen kids grow fast and go through clothes quickly, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on basics he’ll probably outgrow in a year. These shirts are really affordable, especially for a multipack, and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and my son says they feel good to wear all day at school. They’re lightweight and did not shrink after washing. I also like that the shirts don’t get stretched out like some cheaper T-shirts do. The fit works well for him too. They’re simple, classic crew neck tees that can be worn on their own or layered under hoodies and jackets. We’ve used them for school and just everyday wear. Another thing I appreciate is that they’re easy to care for. I just toss them in the wash and dryer and they come out looking fine every time. Overall, these are a great value. If you need affordable, comfortable basic T-shirts for a growing kid (or an adult!), this pack is definitely worth buying.

Nice
Number of Items: 5, Color: Navy/Charcoal/Cardinal Red, Size: Large
My husband really likes the quality of these t-shirts. They fit nicely and dont have a sagging neckline as some t-shirts tend to have. The colors are nice and they wash up well. Not a heavy so comfortable for everyday use whether relaxing, doing yard work etc
