Michael Doucet the GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, artist, founder of BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, and Cajun legend crafts the quintessential Louisiana soundtrack to a good time on his new solo album, LÂCHER PRISE. Joined by Sarah Quintana [vocals, guitar], Chad Viator [guitar], Chris French [bass], and Jim Kolacek [drums], he stirs up a sweet and simmering brew of Acadian tradition, swamp soul, and infectious grooves. In many ways, the moniker embodies the spirit of these five musicians. "In French, Lâcher Prise means 'let go'," Doucet explains. "It's also a Buddhist term. When it came to making this music, it was just total freedom. The new songs were different from what I typically do, so we formed a group of great people and musicians. I've reached a point in my life and career where I can do whatever the hell I want to do. There's freedom for everybody because of the mutual respect though." Doucet describes the album's music as "Les îles Français Zarico", a description that takes into account an eclectic mix of styles including New Orleans rhythm & blues and Southwest Louisiana rock 'n roll, as well as his own interpretations of zydeco and Cajun, infused with the intoxicating rhythms of the French Caribbean. The new band, now known as Michael Doucet avec Lâcher Prise, recorded the ten songs comprising the debut in just three days at Dockside in Maurice, Louisiana, a hallowed studio that has hosted everyone from Dr. John to Allen Toussaint, and Rod Stewart to Arcade Fire. The triumvirate of Doucet, Viator, and Compass Records co-founder Garry West produced, and friends including Sarah Dugas (The Duhks), Reese Wynans (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa), and Jim Hoke (NRBQ) lent their respective talents to the end result.

Tough toys!

We have 2 deogs, a large Aussie and a small terrior. The little guy is very hard on toys. Few last a full day. We have thrown away hundreds of $ worth of toys, We have had these for a few months, and he has not managed to destoy them yet. They get played with a lot because he has very few toys. I keep trying to find toys which will survive this dog. He hjas even destroyed Kong toys which are pretty tough, but has not destroyed these. I wrote this review as I cam back to order more toys from this company, because it is great to have some which can stand up to his abuse.

Great dog toys

These Zeaxuie octopus dog toys are a huge hit with my pup! The crinkle and squeaky features immediately grabbed his attention, and he’s been happily chewing and playing with them ever since. I love that they’re stuffing-free, so I don’t have to worry about any mess. They’re the perfect size for small to medium breeds and seem very durable. These toys have kept my dog entertained for hours – definitely a great purchase!

Our dogs love these
Color: Orange & Blue
We have two rough collies that love to play fetch, tug, and ragdoll. We decided to add these to their play toys. Since getting them they have been ignoring their ducks and going straight for the octopus. We just got them so can’t say much about durability yet but they have been playing with them for hours and still look brand new. Love giving our dogs choices so we can ask them for certain animals to fetch. Love the non-stuffing and the crinkle.

Not for Aggressive Chewers

My Dog Loves them. He immediately took the squeaker out, and dismantled some of the legs, but he still runs around trying to play tug-of-war and fetch with the dismembered body piece's 😂☺️
