Feriga nu este o planta pretentioasa. Are nevoie de udare si pulverizare regulate si temperaturi cuprinse intre 16-30 de grade. Creste si se dezvolta in conditii de umiditate ridicata, varfurile acesteia devenind brune daca este pozitionata intr-o incapere cu aer uscat. In intervalul mai-septembrie se recomanda administrarea de ingrasamant lichid pe substrat umed o data pe saptamana. Inmultirea se efectueaza in luna martie prin divizarea tufei.
