La Batmobile de 1966 de la série télévisée en prise de vue réelle est née d'un concept-car Ford appelé Lincoln Futura. La carrosserie de la Futura a été fabriquée par la société italienne Ghia, dont les artisans ont martelé les panneaux de la voiture sur des rondins et des souches d'arbres taillés en forme pour créer la voiture élégante en forme de raie manta. Le très grand coffre à chauve-souris de la Batmobile contient divers équipements de lutte contre le crime et offre suffisamment d'espace pour accueillir confortablement huit personnes. Le pare-brise est à l'épreuve des balles. Et bien sûr, la Batmobile n'est pas dépourvue de gadgets utiles, comme le coupe-chaîne monté sur le nez, les lasers, les fusées, le téléphone de bord, le radar, le moniteur de bord, l'ordinateur de bord et la balise de police, entre autres.

Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
