Slug will return with a brand new album HiggledyPiggledy, set to be released 13th April 2018 through Memphis Industries.Slug is the nom de plume of North East native Ian Black and, whereas acclaimed debut LP RIPE was made in collaboration with Peter Brewis and David Brewis of Field Music, HiggledyPiggledy was composed, produced and played entirely by Black; enabling him to give free reign to his beguiling brand of Dada-rock.Lead single "No Heavy Petting" was consciously written to be an aggressive album opener, and which pokes fun at Black's own Mary Whitehouse-esque response to the sexualisation of music on television.The album was inspired by a combination of The Residents, John Carpenter and the soundtracks of Don Cherry (particularly Holy Mountain) and Masahiko Sato (particularly Belladonna) plus the Dada art movement which will be self evident to anyone who's seen the hilarious and life affirming Slug live experience, replete with ever changing stage wear (snooker players, sailors, 50s jazz combo) and spontaneous crowd participation. Black intended HiggledyPiggledy to be a more minimal affair than debut RIPE, focussed more on rhythm and percussion. Thematically the record was written against the backdrop of political turmoil but really it's about the strange life Black leads in his native Sunderland, an autodidact outsider living his life in Wetherspoons arguing with some of the questionable attitudes of locals. Nice but short

Yes, I purchased this shirt for my husband to wear on Mother’s Day. He looked so handsome and the color complimented his skin tone beautifully. The only con that my husband expressed was that the shirt was short but was comfortable and the fabric felt good on his skin. He is 6’3” and usually wears an XLT. Coofandy, Please make these shirts for taller, longer torso men!

Expensive Look Without The Expense!

Sizing:
If you’re a true large like me and close to but less than fifteen pounds overweight, normal length and with a 44” chest, buy a medium and use the shirt to inspire you to lose the beer belly. If you have similar dimensions but are overweight by up to thirty pounds, get the large.
Materials: The mediums are manufactured to 70% synthetic, 30% linen—which is a great mix, as is doesn’t have to be ironed after it’s washed and hung to dry, nor does it have to be ironed every time you get up from a chair. I’ve had many 100% linen shirts and sure, they look great after you spend thirty minutes ironing them, just to look like a crumpled up newspaper after you get out of your car. My experience with linen shirts is what brought me here.
Unboxing the shirt:
I threw it on an ironing board the moment I unbagged it. I tried the Synthetic setting on the iron—it wasn’t enough. I then tried the Wool setting and set the steam setting to constant medium to high. It worked great. I didn’t have to press down at all, just lightly glided the iron across wrinkled areas of the shirt. Within five minutes, the shirt looked like a hundred-dollar shirt. The material is light, yet feels heavy to the touch and breathes very well in the heat. The hidden buttons give a clean, modern look that allows the shirt to be worn with anything from shorts and sandals to dress slacks and shoes in a club. I like to wear these shirts, untucked with a pair of jeans and western boots. This shirt is very comfortable, fits nice and is extremely versatile.

These black T shirts are a great buy. The quality is solid, the material feels comfortable, and they fit really well without being too tight or too loose. They hold their shape after washing and the color stays nice and dark.
