Here is a true story of the wrongful arrest, detention, conviction and deportation of G.E. Saigbe Boley, Sr. from the United States. He recounts his experience to expose the malpractices committed within the U. S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration system and to enlighten the uninformed public about the Liberia civil war; his role and personal sacrifices that were grossly distorted and misrepresented.

Dr. Boley conceptualized the front cover of this book while in detention at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia, New York, and during his trial in Immigration Court as he was inspired by the deception and outright lies peddled by the DHS and ICE agents; their callous disregard for the fundamental legal and human rights of individuals; their abuse of public trust which is a stark contradiction of America’s professed belief in the rule of law and human rights.

Dr. Boley’s illegal detention conjures the image of a man in shackles and the hand of an ICE/DHS agent tipping the scale of Justice.

Falsely alleging that he sought to enter the U.S. without valid documents; threatening his witnesses, during his trial, with deportation from the U.S. by DHS/ICE agents; paying witnesses to provide false testimonies against him; and, denying his witnesses visas to travel to the U.S. to testify in his behalf while U.S. Government provided visas for its witnesses and transported them to the U. S. are a few of the injustices against Dr. Boley documented in this book.

About the Author

G.E. Saigbe Boley, Sr. was born in Putu, Grand Gedeh Couny, ancestral home of the ethnic Krahn tribe in southeastern Liberia, West Africa. Of the seventeen ethnic groups in Liberia the Krahns were the prime targets of Liberia’s “civil” war (1989-2003) which was externally orchestrated and covertly supported by the United States.

During the armed conflict, Dr. Boley was engaged in the search for peace and stability in Liberia and the West African sub-region. He held several senior cabinet posts in Liberia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s degree in Education at the State University of New York at Brockport, New York; and, a doctorate degree in Education at the University of Akron in Ohio, U.S.A.

Dr. Boley is married, has several children and grandchildren. In 2017 he was elected a member of the 54th National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia.

Not the best
Size: 7, Color: Black, Size: 7, Color: Black
They are cute but they have a bit of an odd fit that isn’t great for people with narrow feet. They look too dressy to wear with super casual outfits in my opinion. I think the Ugg golden star sandals are much comfier. If you’re wearing these sandals for a really short time they’d be okay. After wearing them around my house for a little while I decided to return them since they started to hurt my feet.

Not for narrow feet, very lightweight.
Size: 7.5, Color: Black
My feet are slightly narrow; these were not adjustable enough to make secure. Otherwise they are cute. The material feels kind of light, these were my first attempt at UGGs so I'm not sure if that's typical or an actual quality issue. Either way, they don't seem very durable but I can't imagine these are meant for roughing it.
