Over a year ago Rhiner from Republic of Bongland met Ernst from Near Dark at a trade fair. There they discussed the then present situation regarding the Hurricane product. It was there that they decided to create an introduction model (HurricaneBaSIX) that would make the smoke filtration system accessible and affordable to all looking to heighten their smoking experience. After many design changes and production tests their efforts paid off and HurricaneBasix in its present form was born.
