The ammonite shell is very well preserved with great detail in the ribbing and suture lines and it has a beautiful pyritic metallic shine. The spines are very well preserved, which is uncommon in this species. These large Crucilobiceras ammonites are very popular and hard to find.
Around 196 million years old, this fossil would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
