AW Metpress 40mm 1 1/2" PFG080 gas copper press 45° degrees elbow DN40 crimp fitting is compatible with all popular press tools and their copper press systems such as Viega, Connex Banninger B Press and Kembla Kempress. This listing is for a single Metpress copper press 45 deg elbow.

Although 90 deg bends and elbows are most common in plumbing pipe works, 45 deg elbows are extremely handy at tight or odd places for that extra convenience and efficiency. The AW 45 deg elbows are good spares to carry in the tool box. 

The AW Metpress gas copper press elbow features a lip at the end of the fitting. The lip helps align the actual press areas along the copper pipes and provide extra sealing material when pressed. The yellow sealing ring is made of HNBR O-ring for gas applications in both LPG and NG with a temperature range of -20 - 110 °C and a maximum pressure rating of 1600kP.

The AW Metpress copper press fittings have a slug fit over the copper pipes and will remain in place until the press tool is applied, allowing easy installations and adjustments. Once pressed and secured by the correct press tool, the fitting will not dent or deform the internal copper to ensure unhindered gas flow. These features have made the AW copper press systems a faster and safer connections to conventional compression or capillary systems.
