The Exo Terra Heat Mat is a substrate heater for terrariums that mimics these sun-heated surfaces. Exo Terra’s Heat Mats serve as an excellent primary or secondary heat source around the clock for tropical or temperate reptile and amphibian species, and are vital as a nighttime heat source for many desert-dwelling species. The Exo Terra Heat Mat securely adheres to the terrarium, creating a strong bond for optimal heat transfer. It can be utilized with an Exo Terra Thermostat and/or combined with other heat sources for species that require higher temperatures.
