Information about the artist: Painter and sculptor, born in Paris in 1967, Alain graduated from IPEDEC (School of Decorative Painting in Paris) and specialised in trompe-l'œil painting.

Using a variety of techniques (such as acrylic, oil, matte or glossy varnishes, gold or aluminum leaf), he strives to give his works a truly tangible quality by creating relief effects on 3D canvases.

On meticulously crafted backgrounds, his work sits at the intersection of painting and sculpture. He creates his pieces on canvas, plexiglass, and even aluminum, which he skillfully undulates. He draws inspiration from imagery of comics, Disney, cartoons, superheroes, American sports teams, and more. He also enjoys painting his hometown, Paris.
