Our Nissan specific CNC machined stem and loop is made of 4130 steel. The stem is black zinc coated for corrosion resistance. The loop is powder coated Gray (Blue, Black, and Red are available). This is not a universal tow hook. The stem was specifically designed for the Z/370Z and the length was carefully determined to fit the front bumper. Both the stem and bolt threads are pre-coated with Vibra-tite threadlocker. This keeps your tow hook from loosening due to vibration. My dogs enjoyed it but it’s not large dog proof. I have a husky and German Shepard…..the ball lasted a day before it was torn up. But this would be perfect for smaller or medium sized dogs.
