About the Author

Sonjia Colson is an elementary school teacher who grew up in a community outside of Durham, North Carolina called Caldwell. She is an alumnus of Shaw University and Vanderbilt University where she earned degrees in Elementary Education and Human Development Studies. In addition, she is a member of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.

A 5-star product is now barely 2-stars. Shame!
I have used these makeup remover pads for years as I wear contacts and have sensitive skin around my eyes. However, the last 3-pack I ordered (Feb 2026), the pad is noticeably sub-par. They are much thinner, there is no quilted texture on one side, and they roll up immediately when you start to rub your eyes with them. In addition, I have to use 4-5 pads to get everything off vs. previously I could easily just use one on each eye. Obviously I will go through them much faster and every time I use them, I get frustrated by how bad the quality is now. Another product victim to shrinkflation and using cheaper materials, but charging the same amount or more than before. Do they do the job removing the makeup - yes. Do they do so without burning my eyes or leaving an oily residue - yes. But knowing how great they used to be, I can only give the current product 2 stars.
