Like all Storz & Bickel vaporizers the Crafty vaporizer uses a unique hybrid heating system that fuses the best of conduction and convection heating. Conduction heating is the most common type of heating element found in battery powered vaporizers. It works by putting your dry herb in direct contact with the heating system; directly vaporizing it. Convection works by directly heating the hot air surrounding your dry herb, gradually lifting the vapour out of it. You can enjoy the best of both worlds with the Crafty Vaporizer. The vaporization temperature on the Crafty Vaporizer has two default pre-set levels: Press the power button once and the Crafty Vaporizer will begin heating to 180 degrees celsius (356F) - a double click on the button activates the booster mode which raises the temperature to 195 degrees celsius (383F) allowing you to purge your herbs of all the terpenes and flavour.
