When this album was first released in 1969, the young combo around vibraphonist and singer Andre Tanker conveyed a new style mix, which apparently naturally merged quite different musical influences into a new whole. At the centre of the music of the Andre Tanker Five was jazz in it's Caribbean, Trinidadian style, a combination of the modern jazz of those days and the sounds of the extremely popular steeldrum bands of the time. A very decisive addition is typical for Trinidad: Calypso. Calypso stands for the attitude to life of this young generation of musicians, for the 'Good Time Feeling' and the desire to incorporate danceable Caribbean rhythms and Afro-Latin grooves into their individual style. Although the original sounds of the young Andre Tanker Five are deeply rooted in the music of the West Indies, Afro-American elements always remain in the foreground. The young combo is musically equally at home in the Caribbean as in the 'hip' jazz clubs of the US megacities and the juke joints of the south with their sultry blues as well as the soul dance halls in Detroit or Memphis. The combination of vibraphone and electric guitar plus bass/drums is also rather unusual in those days. Not a pure instrumental album, 'Afro Blossom West' delivers some surprising vocals - rather unusual for a groove-jazz-based project with a sophisticated rhythmic sound. Bandleader and vibraphonist Andre Tanker is considered a very creative and versatile musician. His exciting improvisations are a dominant feature of this group. Party In The City, Lena and Swahili are original compositions of which he sings the first two himself. Guitarist Clarence Wears is a gifted accompanist and effective soloist. Mixed Results: SIHRMIU Dog Chew Toys Offered Stimulation, Limited Interest from Aggressive Chewers
I recently purchased the SIHRMIU 2 Pack Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers with hopes of providing my energetic dogs with both entertainment and stimulation. While these toys boasted durability and were designed to alleviate boredom, my experience with them yielded mixed results.
Upon receiving the chew toys, I appreciated their sturdy construction and the promise of durability, which was essential given my dogs' penchant for aggressive chewing. The variety of textures and shapes seemed promising, offering potential for engaging play sessions that could keep my pets occupied and mentally stimulated.
Initially, my dogs showed some interest in the toys, eagerly sniffing and exploring them. They seemed intrigued by the different textures and shapes, and I was hopeful that these toys would provide the entertainment they needed.
However, as my dogs began to interact more with the toys, it became evident that their interest was short-lived. While they engaged with the toys for brief periods, they quickly lost interest and returned to their usual chewing favorites. Despite their designation for aggressive chewers, the toys did not seem to withstand the intense chewing of my pets as well as expected. Within a short time, I noticed signs of wear and tear, with pieces starting to break off.
While the SIHRMIU dog chew toys offered some stimulation and diversion for my dogs, they ultimately failed to hold their interest or stand up to their aggressive chewing habits. While they may be suitable for dogs with less voracious chewing tendencies, they were not a perfect fit for my pets.
In conclusion, while these chew toys have potential and may work well for some dogs, they fell short of expectations for my aggressive chewers. I appreciate the effort put into their design and durability, but unfortunately, they did not meet the needs of my furry companions.

Indestructible!
These dog chew toys have been a great purchase! My dog loves them and was interested in them right away. The shapes are fun and easy for my dog to hold while chewing, which keeps them entertained for a long time.
The material feels durable and has held up really well even with regular chewing. I also like that it helps keep my dog busy and gives them something safe to chew on instead of furniture or shoes.
Getting two toys in the pack is a nice bonus, and they seem well made for the price. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend these chew toys to other dog own

Indestructible for the heavy chewers in your life!
My dogs can chew anything, and these are still in great shape! Very chew resistant to even my large dogs, and they love them! Easy to wash off if they end up in the food bowl or outside!
