Mesut Özgen came to the attention of the world music community in 1989 when he performed at the International Paco Peña Guitar festival in Cordoba, Spain. Özgen began teaching himself guitar in 1981 while in medical school - and by 1993 had become the first guitarist to win the Dean's Prize at Yale University. Özgen is widely known for creating new contexts for classical guitar performances. 'Pick and Roll,' a performance composed by Benajmin Verdery and staged by Özgen, featured a basketball player in dialogue with a guitar ensemble and utilized spatial elements in the hall. Troubadour represents Özgen's first major release and let's the rest of us (who are not lucky enough to attend one of his multi-sensory performances) in on the secret. Troubadour is aptly named - Özgen's own journey has carried his music from his native Turkey, through Spain, Connecticut and Arizona, to his present home in Santa Cruz. 'Many troubadours traveled for great distances, aiding in the transmission of news and culture from one region to the other,' says Özgen. The opening track, 'Variations on an Anatolian Folk Song' by Domeniconi is based on a Turkish folk song written by Asik Veysel, a renowned 20th century representative of the Asik (troubadour) tradition. 'The Asiks...singing their own or others' poetry and playing saz, has become the voice of common people...' Anthony Newman's work 'Gigue' shows Özgen's fondness for the ecletic and new. Composer Benjamin Verdery describes 'Gigue' as 'written in Newman's system of substitute harmonies, and features series of short rhythmic cells that when put together give the effect of an Indian raga.' The final track is Pratorius' trilogy 'Sonata: Ondas do Mar de Vigo,' which is based on a Spanish song by the Portugese medieval troubadour Martin Codax. Troubadour was performed on a 1995 Simon Marty guitar, with the exception of the song 'Misionera,' which used a 2003 Gil Carnal guitar. In the early 1990s, Özgen was invited by Verdery to study at Yale University's School of Music, where he completed both his Master of Music and Artist Diploma. Later, he studied with Frank Koonce in the doctoral program at Arizona State University. Özgen has taught guitar at the Gazi University School of Medicine and at Hacettepe University in his native Turkey, and is currently on the guitar faculty at the University of California at Santa Cruz. He was a prizewinner at the International Portland Guitar Competition, a featured soloist at both the International Paco Peña Guitar Festival and the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, and premiered new music for the guitar at the Yale Guitar Festival and the April in Santa Cruz Contemporary Music Festival. Özgen's ability to make classical guitar palatable to a larger audience and his dedication to new musics has inspired composers as varied as Pablo Ortiz, Benjamin Verdery, Deepak Ram, and Yalçin Tura to compose works for him.

Great for lip gloss. Headbands. Little toys and trinkets for preteen
Color: Lilac
This set is great! I love the colors, and my daughter is obsessed with anything purple — light purple, dark purple, all of it 💜. She uses these for all her little trinkets like keychains, Q-tips, headbands, braces, hand sanitizers, little toys, and lip glosses. They’re easy to use, easy to clean, and great quality. She’s had them for a few months now and they’ve held up really well Different sizes. They like up for accessibility

Perfect Drawer Organizers—Love the Assorted Sizes
Color: Clear
I really love these drawer organizers. The quality is great, and the assorted sizes are exactly why I decided to purchase them. I used a few inside my vanity to help keep everything more organized, and they work perfectly for separating smaller items without everything getting cluttered together. I like that there are multiple sizes included because it makes it easy to customize the layout for different drawers and products. One feature I really appreciate is the non-slip bottom. They stay in place well and don’t slide around every time I open and close my drawers, which makes a huge difference. The clear plastic design also makes it easy to quickly see where everything is without digging through the drawer making a mess. They feel sturdy and durable, not flimsy like some other organizers I’ve tried. I also like that they can be stacked when not in use, which helps save space. Best for: vanities, makeup organization, bathroom drawers, office supplies, and general home organization Overall, these are practical, well made, and really help make drawers look cleaner and more organized. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Clear, Stable, and Surprisingly Better Than IKEA
Color: Clear
I didn’t expect to be this impressed by drawer organizers, but the Vtopmart 25 PCS Clear Plastic Drawer Organizers really delivered. The non-slip silicone pads actually work — once placed, the trays don’t slide around at all, even when opening and closing drawers frequently. That alone makes a huge difference in daily use. What I love most is how much space they save while keeping everything clearly visible. The clear plastic makes it easy to find what I need at a glance, and the variety of sizes lets me customize each drawer instead of forcing everything into awkward layouts. All the organizers have a solid, usable depth, so items don’t tip over or feel cramped. Cleaning is effortless — a quick wipe and they look new again. Compared to IKEA organizers I’ve used before, these feel more practical, easier to maintain, and honestly more flexible. Add in the great price for a 25-piece set, and this feels like one of those simple purchases that quietly makes everyday life more organized and less frustrating.

nice set
Color: Clear Black
I bought this set to organize a messy desk drawer and it made a huge difference right away. Having multiple sizes in one pack is what really makes this set useful. I was able to customize the layout instead of trying to force everything into a few fixed compartments. The trays feel sturdy enough for everyday use and the clear design makes it easy to see everything at a glance. I used them for things like pens, paper clips, chargers, and random small items that usually get lost, and now everything actually has a place. They also don’t slide around much once placed, especially if the drawer is fairly full, which I appreciated. Setup took just a few minutes and instantly made the space look cleaner and more put together. If I had to note anything, the plastic is lightweight, so it is not heavy duty, but for organizing office supplies it works perfectly fine. Overall, a really practical set that helps you stay organized without overthinking it.
