All of these characters appear in this narrative of Isleta Pueblo which tells the story of Father Docher's life in the Indian pueblo from the day when he first arrived along the road that was bad, but the sunset beautiful in 1891 until the time of the death of his two great friends, Bandelier and Lummis, and his own death several months later in 1928. Father Docher's job was not an easy one, but his great patience and understanding helped him through many difficulties. The story goes into many of these and into much of the legend and superstition of Isleta Pueblo which the Padre encountered during his long life there. He was particularly interested in the story of Father Padilla, the Franciscan friar who came with Coronado's band, whose body was buried in the church at Isleta but which refused to stay underground. Julia Keleher was a member and Professor in the English Department of the University of New Mexico from 1931 to her retirement in 1959. She was also a professional writer and edited each of her brother, William A. Keleher's books, all of which have been published by Sunstone Press in its Southwest Heritage Series. Her collaboration with Elsie Ruth Chant resulted in this fascinating collection of incidents for all readers interested in the American Southwest. Excellent Coffee - A World Class French Press
The unit is elegantly styled and durable. The double wall is noticeable and keeps the coffee hot for multiple cups. I love the fact that every component is stainless steel - no plastics in the product at all. The unit is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I would gift this to my coffee connoisseur friends!

So many things to LOVE - you should buy it.
So glad I bought this french press!! I am honestly surprised it wasn't more expensive for this quality. My beverage stays very hot while brewing (that was a problem with my old glass one). I typically transfer to a travel mug so not sure how long it would stay hot but my guess is a long time. The double wall all stainless steel retains heat, is very well made and sturdy. I don't have to worry about glass cracking when I add boiling water (my old one cracked) . I also have no fear of dropping it because it is so solid but I don't think I will drop it because the handle is so easy to hold and sturdy. It pours well, no dribbling and I love the coffee bean picture on the lid that shows you how to turn the lid to pour it. My FAVORITE feature is the measurement markings inside. Why don't all French presses have this!!! There is a bit of resistance and a little metal on metal noise when you depress the filter which might bother some people. It is metal on metal and it is a snug fit so you have to push slowly...like 5 seconds instead of 2-3 but it means zero grounds in your cup. It keeps me in the moment and is still easy to use. Also cleans up easily and looks very nice. I would recommend to everyone. I LOVE it.
UPDATE:
I have been using basically daily for 2 months and still LOVE it. Works and acts like new. The metal on metal noise disappeared after 2-4 weeks. I am not really sure when. one day I just suddenly realized it wasn't making that noise anymore. I would 100% buy it again if I needed another one.

Great French ress! No plastic. Beautiful look, easy to use & clean. Great value.
This French press is great. Easy to use. Easy to clean. A great size for two. It is all stainless steel and able to be in the dishwasher, but I wash the plunger parts by hand. The lid has NO problem places that could mold that water can get into. It is definitely a good value since it will last for years. It is portable. It is a lovely appearance of stainless - not too modern and not to fancy. The filter system is what one would expect and works so well. This is my first French press but I did lost of research and I feel this is the best for the cost. The coffee is great, the clean up is not a big deal and there is NO plastic involved!!!

High quality french press
I really like this french press. It is made from high quality stainless steel and does not rust or show signs of degradation.
Easy to take apart and clean.
Everything fits and works properly, the filters work fine.
It stays hot for about 3 to 4 hours if filled to capacity.
