The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre coated with an antibody specific to Guinea pig TIMP 1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Guinea pig TIMP 1 and Avidin Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate

The Guinea pig TIMP-1 (Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase 1) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Guinea pig TIMP-1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Guinea pig TIMP-1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Guinea pig TIMP-1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Guinea pig TIMP-1. You can calculate the concentration of Guinea pig TIMP-1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

I have been using this same kind of watch for 10+ years. I like the belt like strap and the small size. I also appreciate how it has a light on it, the date, and the stop watch. I haven’t had any issues with the battery. These watches have held up well for me although I try to avoid getting them wet. The buttons are hard to press when you first get them but get a little easier to press over time. I still have issues remembering how to change the time and typically have to look up how. The silver parts on the front do wear out over time and turn copper colored. I wore one of these watches for around 5 years before buying a new one when the band which holds the excess space from the band broke. Attached is a picture of the watch that I wore for at least 5 years and a brand new one that I bought.
