"As the years go by, everything evolves and improves”. And this rule also applies to scale modelling, where one of the oldest and most used techniques, rust, has been refined and updated. And if there is a technique where AMMO has always been a reference, it has been precisely here, recreating rust. 13 years ago, AMMO launched a magazine, The Weathering Magazine, focusing in techniques aimed at making modelling more accessible and simpler for all modelers. And the first issue, dedicated to rust, a was resounding success that has endured for all these years.

But as we said at the very beginning, everything is affected by some wear and tear and, in the case of The Weathering Magazine, this wear and tear is also noticeable. And since at AMMO our only obsession is to give the modeler what he asks for, accept the challenge and have prepared a new magazine formula, more technical and detailed. More defined and didactic, with more specific and specialized subjects.

And there is no better way to end it than to say goodbye with an issue dedicated to rust in version 2.0. A small tribute to that first issue, where we show you different and updated techniques to recreate rust and corrosion effects more efficiently and with quicker results. As you have come to expect from TWA, we will cover different modelling genres, to practice and have fun with these techniques using your favourite subjects.

All of the painting and weathering techniques featured in this issue of The Weathering Magazine dedicated to rust effects are explained with detailed step-by-step, each showing you how to perform each technique as illustrated through high-quality images and concise descriptions from some of the world's best modellers. This last issue of TWM is sure to be a collector's favourite, each page filled with useful techniques and every article a learning resource full of inspiration for all genres and levels of modeller.

Unsafe
This looked like a great idea for my energetic pup until I charged it and turned it on. It worked for maybe 3 minutes and she loved it while it was moving. It stopped suddenly and when I opened the Velcro to pull out the ball to check it, it was VERY warm. Unsafe for human or dog. For over $20 I would expect more for a dog toy. Cheap and non working! I will request a refund !

Great For Dogs With High Prey Instincts
My high prey instinct, Husky/Malamute, loves it. The moment it started moving she was on it. Wouldn't let her brother near it. Not noisy. Has USB port so you can recharge it. It's Very cute. Easy to clean you just pop off the covering and toss it in the washer. Great Brain stimulation - that also allows them to get their energy out - without having to talk a long walk in the middle of winter. Just what I was looking for.

Love
Great little toy, the dogs really love it. Works great for kids also, they like to watch it wiggle around.

Good toy
My dog really loves toys, technically he loves to kill toys. This toy is supposed to be chew proof but after 1 day my dog managed to pry it open where the Velcro is to hold the ball inside and rip the Velcro out. Now when he shakes it the plastic ball comes flying out so it had to be removed. It also gets super slimy after he chews on it. He still loves to chew and shake the toy itself so overall it was a good buy since I don’t have to spend most of my day walking through my house picking up stuffing that he has pulled out of his other toys. He is not a big dog by the way just a Boston terrier with stuffed animal issues lol.
