Organic Aloe Vera Powder is a staple must have in your Ayurvedic hair care regimen. It gives your hair the moisture and growth it needs for best results. Its used in henna hair color and Ayurvedic hair care treatments and masks. Can even be used on skin. For all hair types and hair textures.

This herb is a game changer. If you've been suffering with dry hair because of henna and herbal hair care treatments, it's due to a lack of moisture (or over use). Our Aloe Vera Powder solves that problem and quenches thirsty hair strands, nourishes the scalp and promotes even longer hair growth.

Try one of our many recipes found in the instructions and video below for the many ways you can incorporate aloe into your hair and skin care regimen.

When used with henna or to create a hair mask or treatment, add 1-2 tsp of aloe vera powder for every 100 grams used. Add warm water or a liquid of your choice to the recipe and mix well. Prewash your hair using one of our hair washes or shampoo bars. On damp hair strands, apply to hair by sections. When used as a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment leave in hair for 1-2 hours. For use with henna hair dyeing, leave it in your hair for 3-4 hours. Rinse out well with our cleansing cowash for best results. Moisturize, dry and style as usual.
You can use aloe vera powder and mix it with conditioner, yoghurt, hair butters or other Ayurvedic herbs as a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment.

Hair Masques: Add 1-2 tsp of aloe vera powder to any moisturizing, herbal, Ayurvedic or protein treatment to amp up the conditioning and moisturizing (when mixing 100 grams).

Hair Wash: Blend aloe vera powder with water, herbal tea or infused soapnut/shikakai tea until the consistency resembles commercial shampoo. Massage the gel gently into the hair and scalp, leave on the hair for up to 5 minutes, then wash out. There’s no need to follow with a diluted acidic rinse as the pH of aloe is slightly on the acidic side, closer to the pH of the hair and scalps acid mantle.

Soothing Scalp Treatment: Create a paste from 3-4 tbsp aloe vera powder and chamomile tea, and apply to the scalp for an extra soothing scalp pack for irritated and/or itchy scalps.

To Boost Growth: Combine 2 tbsp each of bhringraj powder and aloe vera powder and 1 tsp shikakai powder with water and 1/4 tsp Camellia Oil. Apply to scalp for at least an hour and wash out. Repeat once a week.

As a Post Wash Conditioner: Gradually add water to 1 tsp aloe vera powder and stir until there are no lumps. Stir in another 2 cups of water and shake until all lumps are gone. Pour the liquid over washed hair and leave on the hair for up to 10 minutes. Rinse well.

In Mister Bottles: Blend aloe vera powder with water to form a lump-free paste. Continue to add water until the paste is runny, the add this to 2 cups of water and shake. Make sure there are no lumps, or the spray bottle will clog. Spray the hair when it needs a moisture boost. If the hair feels crunchy, spray the hair with plain water afterwards and use a more dilute solution next time.

Organic Aloe Vera Powder For Skin Care

Aloe is also fantastic for the skin as it is moisturizing, healing, soothing, making it a very popular addition to face masques, body scrubs, nail treatments, cleansers.

Face Wash: Mix a little (about 1/2 tsp) of aloe vera powder in your palm with a little water until a paste is formed. Dampen the face and massage the gel in with circular motions for up to 5 minutes and rinse well. If the gel is not rinsed well from the skin, it can create a slight tingling sensation for some.

Face Masque: Add 1 tsp to 1 tbsp aloe vera powder to any facial masque to quench thirsty skin. Aloe vera powder can also be used in its own as a moisturizing face masque.

Moisturizing Nail Treatment: Blend 1 tsp aloe vera powder into a paste with water and apply to clean, damp nails. Cover each nail with a square of kitchen wrap and leave on for up to 30 minutes and wash off. Repeat weekly. To treat fungal nail infections, add 1 drop of tea tree essential oil.

Sunburn Soother: Mix aloe vera powder with tea made from chamomile flower and apply to sunburn as often as needed.

Spot Treatment for Acne: Blend aloe vera powder with green tea and a pinch or two of rhassoul clay powder and apply to spots for quick healing.

Body/Hand Wash: Blend 4 tbsp of aloe vera powder with either water or herbal tea until it is a gel consistency and massage all over.

Storage: We recommend you store all Ayurvedic herbs in a cool dark place, fridge or freezer and away from moisture.

Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Always test all henna, herbs and products on your skin/scalp before use for possible allergies. Henna and Ayurvedic herbs can be drying to some hair types. Be sure to add necessary moisturizing ingredients to your hair treatments before and after.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
