A bespoke straight-through mid-pipe resonator was designed specifically for the Mk8 to enable a deep, hearty tone both down low and up high no matter the transmission or where you decide to shift in the rev range. In the center resides AWE’s patented 180 Technology® resonator -- responsible for maintaining straight-through performance while decimating drone-prone frequencies. Thanks to the design and construction of 180 Technology® resonators, the internals will not break down and degrade over time causing tone change. Just full-bodied, drone free rumble for life from the point of installation. And if you're ever planning on running an aftermarket downpipe, AWE made it easy to convert by including an adaptor that necks down to the factory downpipe, but is easily removable if you ever want to run something bigger up front... Future proofed. The Touring Edition for the MK8 GTI provides the best ratio of interior refinement and exterior rumble on the market (and yes, you can still hear the noises produced from Sport mode). When it comes to tips, the Touring Edition finishes off with 5” slash cut tips, featuring the AWE logo, so they know what team you're on. Great Functionality a bit light weight tho!

It’s def functional. It looks nice and is not an eye sore. Def will be easy to maintain for cleaning of dust. HOWEVER, four stars simply cause it is a bit top heavy. I will have to find a solution to weight it down so it’s not so top heavy. Possibly in the future they might design a simple one like this with a simple one pound weight across the bottom. Outside of that tiny little issue…a pretty solid simple compact remote holder that functions. Need I say it is Not an eye sore sitting on th coffee table. That was also a winner n my book.

Fits a Voice Roku perfectly! Aligned and snug. Impressive.
Color: Purple Glow
So I grabbed the Purple Glow. Some of the pictures threw me off. And I realize now those partially translucent pics are to show you how it fits. ::face palm:: I was surprised at how well this fits and it makes the remote bigger so for my med-large hands it is great. I was surprised how I liked the fit.
Now at first I thought I was sent the Lilac Purple. Because mine was not glowing at all after sitting in my living room for a few hours.
I took a HIGH lumen LED light and shined it on one side and went into the closet and it glowed-ish. So irradiated the thing and then it glowed pretty well.
I have seen items like this that whatever is used to make things glow fade over time. I wish there was a manufacturer date on these. I know they can make the unit and print out a new sticker. So you just never know.
I sent it back for an exchange. I do want it to glow. So we will see.
However, if it does not glow I will keep it. Since it is the best fitting and easy to take remote out to change battery.
I have had floppy covers (so useless) and super snug ones that fit perfectly but for me were a pain to on and peel off.
