Based around core members Matt Jones, originally from Western Massachusetts, and Busan native Jee Eun Lim, who met in Korea in 2011, the Jee Jee Band fuses simple pop structures, airy instrumentation, and breathy vocals with clever lyrics, in both Korean and English, often of a satirical or political nature. Based in Northern California, the band quietly celebrates Korean culture while also evidencing a cosmopolitan classic pop sensibility, blending K-pop and other Asian pop elements with a classic and yet contemporary US/UK pop feel. The songs on Glass Fish, all very fresh-sounding, feature performers from South Korea, America, and, on one song, the Khmer-language vocals of Cambodian filmmaker Vanntey Morn. Jones's Western Massachusetts pop roots allowed him to enlist the skills of former members of Sunburned, Sebadoh, and others to help record this charming and refreshing release, sure to appeal to fans of K Records, DIY sounds, and pure pop. Cool Watch Great Price

I was looking for a smaller sized 100meter water resistant watch for the gym. It wears smaller than a 40mm which is great for me. 40mm is counting the pushers but its a perfect 37mm. I love the look. It's easy to operate, thin and lightweight. It's comfortable on the wrist, you could sleep with it on.

Great watch. New model lacks holographic diffraction membrane on the display.

It's a really cool design. It's lightweight, thin, easy to read, and feels well made. I do not find the buttons hard to press. Setting the time is easy. In the showcase video of this watch it clearly has a holographic diffraction membrane on the display, which is what gives it the green reflection as the watch spins around, but that is the older model with the "Atlantis 100" writing on the 12 o'clock position. This new model does not have the holographic diffraction membrane, and that is a bit of a let down for me personally. It was a design feature that really set the watch apart from most other digital watches. It's something to keep in mind if you owned the older model and expect the new one to be exactly the same.

$30 well spent

I haven't worn a digital watch in years. I have a Seiko automatic I wear to work events or anything where I feel like having a "dress" watch (it's not really a dress watch, but just a nice watch) but otherwise, basically rely on my cell phone for telling time and setting alarms.
Recently, I've suddenly become interested in digital watches again. I remember how cool the Indiglo feature was on watches as a kid in the early 90s and started researching and comparing. I ended up purchasing one of the $99 Casio G-Shock watches with the solar and atomic clock radio features, and while it's definitely very cool, the wide square shape of the watch face and the curved resin wristband isn't comfortable for me to wear all day. So then I saw this one and figured for $30, it was worth giving it a shot. And I'm glad I did.
First of all, the watch is very comfortable to wear all day -- which really should be the most important thing. I don't have super big wrists but also have had issues in the past with wrist sprains and mild tendinitis from typing all day at work and then painting and repairing my home on the evenings and weekends. The small, round watch face is very comfortable and sits well on my wrist. The band is admittedly very cheap and flimsy feeling, but again, $30 watch.
I don't particularly care for stopwatch, timer, or alarm features from a digital wrist watch, but the Indiglo is so cool. Casio has stopped using electroluminescence in its watches and newer G-Shocks and similar Casios have a small LED that looks like the crappy old lights in cheaper digital watches from the 80s and 90s. It's disappointing to spend $100 on a new G-Shock to find out that the EL feature has been retired. However, this $30 Timex that feels more comfortable, fits better, and seems to be just as durable, has it.
