Protective plates in the mitt insulate the top and underside of the hand while updated channels along the palm and backhand improve finger dexterity to securely grip the base. Updated with a rubber bumper along the top, the Sliding Mitt 2.0 protects fingertips when jammed up against the base. The universal design is compatible with the left hand or the right hand, and an elastic compression strap keeps the mitt in place while racking up stolen bases.
