The waves carried her to the shore of an island, where she was found by the owner of the island estate, Beau LeGardier, a widower with a young child. After being found, the events that took place changed the course of Rebecca’s life.

Kathy Q. Bruhl lives in Madisonville, Louisiana. She has been married for 41 years and has two married daughters and four grandchildren. She is a retired employee of her local school system. She loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
