2015 release, the second album from Avasa and Matthew and the long awaited follow-up to Love Is King, Love Is Queen. Blending inspiration from various cultural traditions, the album's instrumentation centers around the acoustic guitar and harmonium played by Avasa and Matthew, orchestral strings composed by Robin Livingston with additional solos by Steve Gardner, flute from Todd Boston, tabla by Benjy Wertheimer and percussion from Gabriel Harris (the son of Joan Baez). The Road travels through varied etheric atmospheres, with celebratory melodic chants that inspire your feet to dance, distinct devotional ballads, Sanskrit mantra and lullabies of light. Avasa and Matthew's sound is a relaxed, tuneful blend of world, pop and their own unique devotional soul music, with anthemic aspects to many songs that are greatly enhanced by the duo's distinctively rich vocal chemistry. Their stylistic influences are diverse, ranging from James Taylor and India Arie to Bob Marley and Tracy Chapman; they currently cite Beethoven, Carlos Nakai, Deva Premal & Miten, and Krishna Das as inspirations. They share songwriting credits, writing both independently and together, always with the clear goal of creating music that nourishes the soul and inspires each listener to find "the road" to one's guiding moral compass in life. Cute but not the sturdiest

It hold everything well and looks really nice on my dresser. I like that the variations in the leaves allows for me to hang things of varying size up in a way that’s cute and accessible when I want to wear it. I like having all my jewelry visible at a glance.
The base is a really light weight wood and so you can’t screw the top super tightly just because the wood wouldn’t hold up to that very well. That means that the tree may lean or spin a bit if you’re grabbing your earring and it’s base from one of the leaves. There’s no fear of breakage, but just not the ideal experience. So it’s not the sturdiest. It doesn’t really need to be to do what it does, but that’s the one thing I wish could be improved about this display.

I love this!!
I struggled to put it together - I had to use pliers and REALLY PRY to get the nut off in order to screw it to the base. But once I did, I am super happy with this. It's pretty and has a lot of room for all my earrings. I also put necklaces and bracelets in the base. The downside other than how hard it was to put together is how wobbly the tree part is, but I think if I tightened the screw, it would be fine.

Awesome jewelry tree
Color: Black
The design is attractive and the holes for earrings are placed perfectly. I also have several necklaces hanging on the branches. The tray underneath the tree is perfect for bracelets and watches.I feel this is a unique design. I did attach washers above and below the tray on the screw to secure the tree better- love it!!!

This was super easy to assemble, I didn’t even need any tools. It had plenty of room for my 46 current pairs of earrings, plus room for 18 more. It feels sturdy and isn’t outrageously over sized so it fit perfectly on top of my old jewelry box. The tray at the bottom is great too because now I can keep my rings and ear cuffs on display rather than try and stuff them on top of each other in the jewelry box.
