This Kapro aluminum rule has inch graduations to 1/16 and an anodized profile for measuring in woodworking, carpentry, and machining applications. Its graduations are UV (ultraviolet) cured screen printing and staggered in a height pattern for readability. It is made of anodized contractor-grade aluminum for durability. It has a hole in the end for hanging in a workspace or tool room.
Rules are devices used to measure distances, or to rule straight lines. Rules have markings at specified intervals (also called graduations), as opposed to straight edges, which lack graduations and are used solely to draw a straight line.
