Mercyful Fate's iconic full-length debut album 'Melissa' was released in 1983. It was the first album for Roadrunner Records and established Mercyful Fate as pioneers of extreme metal. Known for its Satanic themes, King Diamond's high-pitched vocals, intricate guitar work, and its massive influence on black, death, and thrash metal. Featuring classics tracks "Evil," "Curse of the Pharaohs," "Black Funeral," "Satan's Fall," and the epic title track "Melissa", named after a fictional witch and a skull used by the band.

Not as Bad as I have heard

Decided to order this book I had heard so many bad things about it. But to my surprise it was pretty darn good.. I have two complaints. 1. The art in issue #6 was up to par. 2.. It ended to soon. Would like to have seen it continue at least up to issues 24 or 25 giving a new creative team a chance to see where they could take these characters.
