The Junction Road Shawl was originally published in our book Knit with attitude - a 10-year celebratory collection celebrating Knit with attitude's 10th anniversary.

Designed by our dear Natalie Selles for Knit with attitude, the Junction Road Scarf is a constructional surprise! Natalie says of the design:

There are so many ways to design a shawl, and yet it sometimes feels like they’ve all been done before! I had this construction idea that I hadn’t seen before for a while so I was delighted to have a chance to work it out properly for this book.
It is worked by making a centre panel, then the sides are each knit outwards. This creates a shape that is shallow in the front, but with long enough arms to wrap around without creating too much bulk.
Attitude can mean challenging ideas that seem unmoving and widely accepted in order to create change. Similarly Junction Road challenges the usual ways of making a triangle shawl by turning it upside down and sideways.

Junction Road features a wonderful play with colour and texture, in a seductive combination of fibres, and we have come up with 4 inspired colour combinations for you to choose from!

The kits contain all the yarn you need to complete your very own Junction Road, and can be bought with or without the pattern.
