Description:

The T1RR-H02 race twin disc kits are meticulously engineered for serious enthusiasts who demand a direct bolt-in kit without additional modifications. ACT's sintered iron race discs boast the highest torque capacity among all ACT race discs and are renowned for their ultra-high heat capacity. Most kits offer pedal loads 10-20% higher than stock while increasing the clamp load by 80-90%.

Each kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, ensuring trouble-free use. Moreover, all kits undergo an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process on all diaphragms. The kit comprises a pressure plate, two discs, floater, flywheel, and alignment tool. Some kits may also include a pilot bearing and release bearing. ACT Twin disc kits meet SFI Specification 1.2.

Description Highlights:

  • Feel: Light to moderate pedal effort, predictable, quick engagement, quick throttle response, increased gear rattle
  • Life: ACT's exclusive diaphragm, hardened posts, and high heat capacity ensure long life under severe abuse, although the rigid design may increase spline wear
  • Quality: Carefully engineered, precisely assembled, accurately balanced, with a chromoly hub heat-treated for strength and durability
  • Recommended Use: Recommended for high horsepower race use only, not intended for street
  • ACT Difference: 100% clamp load tested and dynamically computer balanced for smooth high RPM reliability

Always order big!
I needed a minimum of 2 AWG wire to create interconnects between batteries in a large bank. If you note, these say 1/0 Gauge, not AWG. What is 1/0 Gauge? Who knows, it's fake. Meaningless, because it is not standardized so you have no clue what you are getting. What did I get for my 1/0 Gauge wire? Something that was in between 1 and 2 AWG (closer to 1). This was perfect for my needs because I knew darn well how big to order when they say gauge instead of AWG. As a rule of thumb: If they as gauge, order 3 - 4 sizes larger than you need in AWG. This will always net you larger wire than you need but I have never had it net me wire smaller than I needed. At the price I got it for during prime days, it was a steal for 2 AWG wire, so I win! I hope you found this helpful!

Heavy duty and has lasted three years so far
I have had this relay installed in the engine bay of my Lexus RX 300, functioning to link the front battery to the additional battery in the trunk whenever the ignition is on. The relay has worked reliably for about three years now with no complaints besides one minor comment, be careful when threading down the nut on the Low voltage side. It is prone to stripping

Heavy Duty!!
Performed extremely well. No buzzzing or poor connection. Extremely well built and has been working issue free for over 6 months! Instalation can be a bit difficult due to size and weight. Not really a problem.

Seems to be ok for the money
We use it to power a 2000w inverter for the refrigerator and microwave on our boat where sometimes it will stay on continuously throughout the day and it hasn't let us down. As others have said, the terminals are awful close together but for the money, it's worth it.
