On 14 February 2012, the Scottish company _ The Rangers Football Club plc _ and parent company to Rangers Football Club was placed in Administration. The principal activity of the company was the operation of a professional football club.

Considering its history _ and most significant football pedigree _ one must wonder what happened when on Sunday 29 July 2012 this football club played Brechin City Football Club (FC) in the Ramsdens Challenge Cup and on 11 August 2012 played Peterhead FC in its first competitive match in the then Scottish Football League (SFL) Third Division. Arguably, this was the lowest point in the clubÕs history at that time.

The ÕRangers storyÕ affected many people in, and beyond, football and Scotland. From both an academic, practitioner and lay perspective, this was _ and continues to be _ a story of our time that demands objective and critical analysis.

The purpose of this book is to attempt to explain the complexity of this story. It does not seek to judge or blame or to make recommendations but endeavors to offer an academic explanation to this complexity. It also hopes to explain the recovery of Rangers FC, and its parent companies, from 29 July 2012 to 6 March 2015 _ the date of the so-called Ôregime change.Õ Simply, it is a story of how Ôcorporate RangersÕ (i.e. the companies that operated Rangers FC) contributed to a descent into chaos, how a resultant chaos ensued and the subsequent recovery from this most chaotic period in the history of Rangers FC.

Lint free, strong, not super absorbent

These are my preferred cotton rounds. I use them twice daily with micellar water to clean my face. There’s no lint, ever, unlike what I grabbed when I ran out once from the drugstore. The edges aren’t pressed to the point they’re abrasive, which I’ve encountered in other brands and is very frustrating. They’re just the right amount of thick - easy to fold to a corner for running along my lower lash line to get makeup off fully, but not so thin they fall apart as you use them. Both sides are equally soft and durable, and using one side doesn’t compromise the integrity of the other. Once one side is dirty, just flip it over! I ordered the bulk pack to drop the cost per round to $0.02/per, since I know I love these and will go through them constantly. This is a great value. I’ve used the same brand’s organic rounds, which are comparable in quality, thickness, softness, and durability, so if organic matters to you but you’re dubious that the cost could be so close while not sacrificing quality, you can be confident that Cliganic isn’t guilty of shrinkflation to cut costs on what should be a comparable yet more eco-premium experience.
