This year Gravenhurst celebrates a decade of work on Warp Records with the reissue of two classic albums, Flashlight Seasons and Black Holes in the Sand, and an additional new album: Offerings: Lost Songs 2000-2004, a compilation of unreleased material from that period. 2004's Flashlight Seasons quickly earned Gravenhurst a devoted fan base, consistently strong support from the music press, and cemented Nick Talbot's reputation as a unique talent, and one of the most original British singer/songwriter and producers of his generation. Black Holes in the Sand, a noisier and more overtly lo-fi record of dark pastoral psychedelia firmly established an enduring Gravenhurst aesthetic: enigmatic lyrics, ghostly and virtuoso finger-picked guitars against a backdrop of cinematic, shape-shifting, semi conscious sonic textures; subliminal transmissions from the surrounding landscape. These two records established Gravenhurst as a place; a place of revenants. Plotting a journey from the unquiet graves of the unjustly accused, through the dark temptations of the city to the ancient rituals of the forest, Gravenhurst is a musical treasure map of sigils and coded clues, where the very earth itself has a message to convey. Offerings: Lost Songs 2000-2004 is a collection of previously unheard recordings quickly deemed worthy of an exclusive release. Alongside eight previously unheard songs are two early demos that differ from album versions in intriguing ways and the result is a carefully selected and coherent collection. The three albums will be pressed on vinyl accompanied with digital download codes, essays by Nick reflecting on this early material after a decade of progress, and a limited run of hand-made and signed lino cut prints which will be made available to the first 100 customers who buy all three albums on vinyl through Bleep at a discount rate. A triple CD release will comprise all three albums.

Coolest wireless charger design I've seen
I just gotta say that this is the coolest design for a wireless charger, looks kinda futuristic. Now how well does this work? Amazingly well and truly easy to use. It is adjustable, stable and much safer for everyone. I really like this charger.

Wow that light color ring is annoying
There is no way to turn this color light off. I don't even know why it has to have a light at all. I suppose it is to tell you it has power. But the light could have been something that momentarily turns on and then off as you place the phone on.
I'm a DIY'er and I'm going to find a way to take this apart and disable the light. I'll report back if I'm successful.
The good news is that this mount is identical to another one I have except for the magnet charging section. I'm talking it is identical down to the knobs and metal arm so it's generic in that sense. They only changed out the magnetic section. This type of mount holds well to the screen. The charging speed seemed adequate. Not terribly fast but not slow. Wirelessly charging is always slower than plugged in.
The supplied USB cable is braided and feels like quality.
See attached picture. This mount is not something you'll necessarily want to use every time you drive. Therefore the color ring is annoying.

SLEEK EXTENDABLE SCREEN MOUNT
HIGH SPEED TESLA MAGSAFE POWER
i picked this up for my Model 3 to see if the 25W Qi2.2 charging actually lives up to the hype during my daily work week.
✨ The CNC aluminum build is top notch and feels much more robust than the flimsy plastic mounts i have tested. It's a piece of cake to clamp onto the corner of the Tesla screen and the metal arm matches the interior aesthetics perfectly. The magnetic hold is strong enough to keep my phone secure even when i am taking sharp turns thru my weekend adventures.
✨ Performance is where this thing shines because it actually delivers the 25W speeds without overheating. The built in cooling fan is a smart design choice that keeps the temperature down during long drives. i can hear the fan if the music is off but it's barely noticeable and definitely worth it for the consistent charging speed.
✨ The RGB lighting adds a subtle glow that makes it easy to find the mount in the dark without being distracting. Having the extendable arm is a big benefit for finding the perfect line of sight without blocking the main touchscreen. It's clearly a well thought out solution for any Tesla owner who wants a professional grade charging setup.
THE VERDICT
This is a exceptional piece of hardware that delivers real world results for high speed charging. The combination of active cooling and a sturdy metal build makes it a first class addition to my car.
