Ensure you purchase the correct size for your child's age to prevent the risk of your baby's head slipping down into the bag, which can pose a choking hazard.
Ensure you choose the sleeping bag suitable for the season. If the sleeping bag is too hot for the baby, there is a risk of overheating. Baby Zzzen offers three types of sleeping bags:
- muslin sleeping bags for warmer seasons;
- jersey sleeping bags for mid-season, warm summers (excluding hot summers) or warm indoor environment;
- warm jersey sleeping bags which insulate the warmth for cold winter nights or chilly outdoor walks (with additional clothes when appropriate and necessary).
If you notice any loose threads that could trap a baby’s fingers, fix them to eliminate the choking hazard.
