Braids are a three-piece experimental pop band from Montreal. To record their third album, Deep In The Iris, Braids decamped to a series of retreats in the mountains of Arizona, Vermont, and upstate New York. Surrounded by nature in all it's warm vitality, the longtime bandmates strove to shed the fabric of their day to day relationships, being bare and vulnerable before one another. What resulted is Deep In The Iris, their strongest record to date - powerful, yet fragile; immaculately sculpted, but deeply human. Raphaelle Standell has always had a formidable voice but rarely has it sounded as vital, focused, and powerful as it does here. True to the process that birthed it, the record explores a number of heavy subjects, including pornography, abuse, and slutshaming. Standell's emotional vulnerability becomes a triumphant weapon in it's own right: scything through wrongdoing and shame with equal aplomb, and clearing the way for the many others who will find resonance in the bravery of these lyrics. Written from a place of inspiring strength and unblinking lucidity, the lyricism of this record is a cathartic gift.

These WORK!

I purchased these two bottles ago for help with dealing with a bad case of oral thrush caused by a couple rounds of powerful antibiotics and fluconazole (rebound?) for a bad UTI and resulting yeast infection. Oil pulling, mouthwashes, salt water rinses all helped, but this put me over the top. I also take a candida killing herbal supplement as well as a variety of probiotics. I appreciate the mint is very mild (these are NOT breath mints which only mask the problem) and dissolve them slowly in my mouth at bedtime along with another during the day. I am also sure to not put anything else in my mouth for a good long time after so the pb’s can do their magic. i believe the thrush is mostly gone, but I still have some residual tingling and burning from time to time. These, along with good oral cleansing practices, help tremendously. I now order them regularly. They also make your breath fresh, naturally. Great product. Highly recommend!

Taste

effective for dry mouth during sleep

I tried this in lieu of my usual Biotene. It works just as well and you can't beat the price savings. I mouth breathe during sleep and this helps keep my mouth moist. Only thing I wish the cap were not a safety cap as I find it a bit difficult to open, so I transfer the contents to an old Biotene bottle. Yet I certainly understand the purpose of a safety cap. On my 2nd bottle of this now and if the price stays competitive this is my go-to rinse.
