This stone is the lightest shade of soft green, very neutral, and they are lightweight and comfortable to wear.  Prasiolite is mostly created by heating natural purple amethyst at high temperatures to produce a the green color that will not fade.  This can be a fun alternative February birthstone choice for those who don't like the traditional purple amethyst. 

The stones are securely wire wrapped and attached to hand-formed ear wires.  The ear wires are formed by hand in our studio with 20 gauge wire and are lightly hammered for strength and style.

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED? 
14kt gold filled is a layer of solid 14kt gold (gold alloy) bonded to a jeweler's brass core.
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating - Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated.
