SHANNON, MIKE: Possible Conclusions to Stories That Never End LP (SCAPE 036 LP). LP version; CD released on 3/7. Recently relocated to Barcelona, Mike Shannon established himself as Canada's most respected techno and house DJ. Involved with the Cynosure and Revolver labels (and artists like Akufen, Deadbeat, Pan/tone), Mike Shannon himself has been actively performing and promoting a very specific genre of minimal house and techno that today is reaching a new level of awareness in the global electronic community. On Possible Conclusions to Stories That Never End, Shannon switches skins, putting aside overt techno nuances he has been punishing parishioners of the dance floor with for well over a decade to explore a different region of actualization. The album commences using field-recordings of a typhoon hitting the streets of Tokyo, and the listener is shunted into an environment where each song is chimeric conclusion bathed in a cinematic light. On "Taken Only Road" (featuring Anais) Mike Shannon's sparse, sedate jazz manifestations form with a subtle electronic prosthetic to make a seamless hybrid of haunting lyrical form and near-ambient formlessness. Anais's vocals wander from sweet supplication to a silky lament over neon throbs of heady keys dappling over a languid bass-line. Atop the springy malleable groove of "Last One Terrified," spoken word elemental Moral Undulations catalogues the soul-stunting elements in North American culture with measured but casual defiance. In addition to Anais and Moral Undulations, Toronto-based jazz drummer Tim-Stokes Reese's smooth percussion ghosts and weaves through the album, serving as beacon points to the thick narcotic groove espoused on this fourteen track offering. On "Tears" Montreal musician Patrick Watson gently flays with piano ripple in time to Reese's drum patterns to make a resoundingly emotional result. The innocuous dread that underlies many of the tracks contains trace elements of influence from cinematic composer Angelo Badalamenti, to Montreal electronic wizards Marc Leclair and Deadbeat. With releases on various imprints worldwide Mike Shannon has consistently maintained an aesthetic quality to his techno productions defining him a key player in the global. Forcex.2006.

The Best Flavor-Packed Toy to Stuff and Chew! 🐾
Flavor Name: REAL Bacon, Size: Medium
Hello, it’s Skye! I’m back with another very important product update. If you are a dog who loves a challenge and loves real bacon, you need to tell your humans to get you the Benebone Ring Durable Dog Chew Toy. Why this ring is my absolute favorite: The Ultimate Treat Bowl: My absolute favorite part about this ring is the hollow center. My humans stuff it full of yummy treats, freeze-dried raw bites, or a little dog-safe peanut butter, and it turns into the best puzzle bowl ever! I will happily spend hours licking and working to get every single crumb out. Tastes Like Real Bacon: Even after I clean out all the stuffed treats, the toy itself is infused with real, delicious bacon flavor. It doesn't smell like fake chemicals; it smells like the real deal, which makes my nose very happy. Super Durable for Heavy Chewing: I have sharp puppy teeth and I love to chomp, but this durable nylon ring is tough. The curved design makes it really easy for me to flip up with my paws and hold securely while I chew away. It keeps me completely occupied, exercises my brain, and satisfies my need to chew. Five paws up for the best stuffed treat ring ever! 🐶🥓

Flavor Name: REAL Bacon, Size: Small
This chew toy is great for aggressive chewers—it’s very durable and holds up much longer than most other toys we’ve tried. The ring shape makes it easy for dogs to grip and carry, and my dog was immediately interested in it, likely because of the real bacon flavor. It’s also a nice bonus that it’s made in the USA and doesn’t have a strong smell for humans. That said, it is very hard, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on your dog while they’re using it, especially if they’re an intense chewer. Over time, it does wear down and needs to be replaced once the edges get rough. Overall: a long-lasting, high-quality chew that keeps dogs occupied—just be mindful of the hardness and monitor for wear.

Long lasting chew toy!
Flavor Name: REAL Bacon, Size: Large, Flavor Name: REAL Bacon, Size: Large
All I can say is wow! I have a Basset Hound mix who will be in the puppy stage for another year, and as we all know, that means dealing with teething issues. Seeing the photo of this product when it was new makes it obvious what he’s done to it. He’s still at it, chewing like mad. Made for medium to large dogs, he happily totes it around everywhere, and I’m always picking it up so I don’t trip over it. The inner cup can hold peanut butter as a special treat for your pet, and I give him some when he’s feeling a bit bored. It doesn’t last long, but he’ll keep chewing on it for a while afterward. For me, the value is worth the price if it keeps his teeth off my furniture—pet owners know exactly what I mean.
