At Gongs Unlimited, we use the Meinl Cymbal Cleaner to clean all our Chinese Gongs because we find it to be effective to the maximum for cleaning up our bronze! For cleaning Chinese gongs or other lathed gongs made of bronze, simply spray the cleaner on the surface and then wipe it off, to restore the original shine. At Gongs Unlimited, we use the Meinl Cymbal Cleaner to clean all our Chinese Gongs because we find it to be effective to the maximum for cleaning up our bronze!

For cleaning Chinese gongs or other lathed gongs made of bronze, simply spray the cleaner on the surface and then wipe it off, to restore the original shine.

Important Note: If you are cleaning Nickle Silver Gongs, (such as Paiste, Meinl, Tone of Life, Grotta Sonora, Gongland, or Oetken Gongs) spray the cloth NOT THE GONG. The Meinl cleaner will remove the rainbow circle outside the face of the gong, the dark outer ring, and brighten the center. So unless you want to transform your gong into a brilliant gong, SPRAY THE CLOTH, not the gong.
