Information : Rachel, stylist by trade, created her heroine more than 10 years ago. We call it ''La Parisienne'': The wavy hair, the dominance of gold by Gustav Klimt, the audacity of Toulouse Lautrec and the modernity of Edmond Kiraz have greatly influenced Rachel since her early childhood. Thanks to her creativity, Rachel thus composes three-dimensional works with a predominance for painting and recycling brand bags, perfume bottles from major brands such as Dior, Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, YSL... of gold, pearls, flowers will come together under his brushstrokes to give unique works. Rachel is a popular French artist that the fashion world adores. Her works are present in the collections of major designers and international collectors.

Information: The "Paper Dolls" collection draws its inspiration from the shared cultural universe. In the 1950s, women's fashion magazines featured paper dolls that could be cut out, dressed, and even adorned with wings—a concept that first emerged in 1810.

The artist connects this nostalgic childhood game, which influenced the 3D mixed-media dolls she creates today, to her artistic vision. Through this work, she extends the central theme of freedom that runs through her art. After all, who embodies freedom more purely than the innocent child of the future?

These dolls serve as a bridge between her own childhood and those of her audience, akin to a Proustian madeleine, evoking shared memories and emotions.

The origin of Atlantis was orally passed down from an Egyptian priest.
Format: Paperback
I haven’t even finished it yet because I’ve been very busy with college. However, it is fascinating to read the story of Atlantis. Personally, I believe it was a real lost city. Mythology can sometimes be true if it speaks about lost cities.

Great translation BUT printed backwards
Format: Paperback
The book is actually printed backwards, with Contents and Introduction at the back of the book. Never seen this before.
