The HS1-HDR6 kit by ACT features their most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, designed to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life through an exclusive diaphragm design. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency in the pressure plate. The kit includes a 6-pad rigid race disc crafted with high-quality ceramic friction materials. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated to ensure strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design facilitates quicker shifts and provides smooth, trouble-free service. Although engagement with the 6-pad rigid race disc is harsher, shifting is faster. This kit is recommended for larger clutch sizes to better absorb heat.
