    Overview

The E-flite ®Twin Timber 1.6m isn't "just another Timber with a second engine" - it's the most capable, stable and unique Timber yet! All the popular features of other Timber models are still there: shock-absorbing chassis with oversized tundra-style wheels optional slats functional landing flaps and an LED system with landing, navigation and ACL lighting. The Twin Timber 1.6m also features a large top fuselage cover for faster and easier battery changes. It is also one of the most stable Gear fitted ever used on a Timber model to improve durability and STOL capability when flying out of rough terrain! The efficient twin brushless motors are 3S and 4S compatible and set to an exclusive 40A spectrum Avian  Dual Smart ESC capable of providing a variety of real-time telemetry of the propulsion system with smart and non-smart batteries via compatible receivers (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF ® Basic version; in combination with Spektrum AirWare  equipped transmitters). The BNF ® Basic version comes equipped with an AR637TA receiver to transmit full-range real-time telemetry data, including battery voltage, ESC temperature and more - plus differential thrust and counter-thrust for special ground handling and other features - along with the benefits of AS3X ® and the optionally usable SAFE ®Select. The larger two-piece wing contributes to stability, and oversized control surfaces with bi-directional flaps provide control and flight characteristics like the Timber X models (including optional full-span ailerons). Combo wing servo connectors simplify installation, and a specially designed clip in the fuselage holds the wing connector so you don't lose it when the wing is removed from the fuselage. Best of all, the wing mounted motors make it almost impossible to damage a propeller or motor and their mounts should you ever flip the Twin Timber! They also offer good ground clearance when flying with the same optional floats found on the Timber X 1, 2 m and Timber 1.5 m can be used. And it all adds up to make this Timber a great first twin engine Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) or everyday model and even an aggressive aerobatic model for a variety of pilots!

    Bind-N-Fly version

Already own a Spektrum  transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft allow you to get airborne faster than ever before. They come with the drive system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed. All you have to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly and fly!

    Exclusive technologies

The Twin Timber 1.6m is equipped with the exclusive spectrum  AS3X ® and SAFE ® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger aircraft. The optional SAFE Select offers bank limits as well as automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off with the push of a button to make flying easier! And if you don't want to activate the SAFE Select function, bind the receiver normally and only AS3X is active.

    smart technology

Both the PNP and BNF Basic versions come equipped with an exclusive Spektrum  Avian  Dual Smart ESC that provides a variety of real-time powertrain telemetry data, including battery voltage, ESC temperature, and more—smart and not Smart Batteries - via compatible receivers and transmitters (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF ® Basic version; in combination with Spektrum AirWare  equipped transmitters including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX14 , iX20 and others). In addition, differential and counter-thrust provide improved ground handling for easier taxiing, takeoffs and landings, as well as the ability to perform special aerobatic maneuvers.

    Versatile chassis options

Thick grass, gravel paths, dirt trails - even local lakes and ponds - you can fly off these and many other surfaces that are impossible for most models of this size to navigate. The most powerful yet installed on a Timber model, the shock-absorbing undercarriage is fitted with oversized Tundra-style wheels to iron out the bumps of rough surfaces. The optional float kit (EFL5261; sold separately) features two water rudders for excellent steering control. Whichever landing gear option you choose, both are easy to install and can be swapped out in minutes.

STOL capable (Short Takeoff and Landing)

The wing design with increased span and more wing area than the Timber X 1.2 m and the Turbo Timber 1.5 m also has pulled-down edge arches and can optionally be equipped with the supplied slats for improved slow flight and STOL characteristics. These features, along with the lightweight construction, oversized landing flaps and powerful brushless power system, allow you to be in the air or hovering to land in just a few feet.

    Flexible twin power

The factory-installed dual-motor brushless power system features a 40A Spectrum  Avian  Dual Smart ESC and specially tuned motors that offer ample boost with a 3S LiPo battery, or with a 4S battery with no necessary modifications or upgrades for more flight speed and unlimited vertical climb performance. Also, the wing-mounted motors make it almost impossible to snap off the contra-rotating propellers or damage the motors and mounts in a rollover.

    Lasting precision

Composite-reinforced hollow-core EPO material construction provides a lightweight yet durable airframe. And the factory-installed metal gear servos are precise, durable, and reliable.

    LED lighting

Like most other Timber models, the Twin Timber 1.6m features realistic looking LED landing, navigation and ACL lights factory installed and powered by the flight battery.

    Easy construction

No glue is required for assembly, and because the few parts that need to be assembled are positively bolted together, the Twin Timber can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the flight battery. The two-part wing with grouped servo connections makes it easier to remove and install the wing. Also, a specially designed clip in the fuselage holds the wing connector so you don't lose it when the wing separates!

Liked it
Format: Kindle
I liked the worlds and the characters. The prophesy is confusing in that I would think, since all worlds ore on a path to destruction, the angels would want their world to be saved. I am sure there is more evil that will be revealed as the series proceeds. I dislike a prolonged “poor little me” trope and the main character has moved past that, thankfully, and began to show a fierce attitude as the novel progressed. The last portion of the novel had some great action. It’s worth reading, just be patient with a slow start.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.
